Spring challenges

Hi everyone. This seems to be a challenging time for many. A combination of covid, price rises in everything from bread to energy, and continiuing logistics issues, are making life interesting for many. For pretty much all solar supplies companies like us – even the larger ones, random availability and supply chain issues are the main problem. One week it might be cable that is slow to ship, the next it is solar rail, the next, batteries. Certainly a variety of factors are causing production problems across the world, and then what was a pretty seamless supply chain is struggling.

I’ve no idea whether other companies post about this, but the truth is that its unlikely to get better. This makes it hard to guarantee delivery times on a number of items which is as frustrating for us as it is for customers. We are doing our best however.

The result of these uncertainties is that we are getting no deliveries, and then everything in one go, which then results in us having to work around the clock to build orders and clear the backlog. This is where we are now. Combined with ongoing covid problems, and time off for sickness, and its certainly challenging.

Rest assured though that we are doing our best to get orders out as fast as possible, and thanks once again to everyone for their understanding in what are truly challenging times. There has certainly never been a better time to invest in some back up power.
